Made in France
The manufacturing of our exceptional bags takes place exclusively in France, in our workshop in Limousin.
Our material choices (leathers, metal parts, fabrics, cottons, packaging, cardboard) are mostly produced and sourced in France. When this is not possible, we make it a point of honor to choose exclusively renowned partners from neighboring countries (Switzerland, Italy).
Joséphine asserts herself as a committed actor.
Our social & environmental commitments
Because we believe that being a luxury player does not mean being passive towards the environment, we have implemented a number of measures to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while operating within the framework of the circular economy.
Here are some examples of our commitments:
Production commitment (SDG 12)
We have implemented four measures to reduce the environmental impact of the entire value chain of our products:
1: Our tanneries are all LWG (Leather Working Group) certified.
2: Josephine undertakes, within the limits of repairability, to do everything possible to extend the lifespan of her bags.
3: Choice of cardboard packaging made in France and without plastics
4: Cushions & blankets made from organic cotton
5: Goal of B Corp certification within one year (global framework for continuous improvement)
Commitments to reducing carbon impact (SDG 13)
1: Annually establish a transparent carbon footprint assessment of our activities starting in 2026.
2: Taking into account and reducing the impact of logistics
3: Shooting only in mainland France
Commitments for work (SDG 8)
Within the framework of sustained economic growth, we want it to be shared and sustainable in order to offer everyone decent and quality employment.
1: Support local partner artisans (seamstresses, regional tanneries) (DD8)
